Circular RNA circ_0004507 contributes to laryngeal cancer progression and cisplatin resistance by sponging miR‐873 to upregulate multidrug resistance 1 and multidrug resistance protein 1
Head & Neck Dec 11, 2020
Yi X, Chen W, Li C, et al. - Given critical roles of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in several types of cancer and chemosensitivity, researchers herein measured expression levels of circ_0004507 and microRNA‐873 (miR‐873) via quantitative real‐time polymerase chain reaction. Via circinteractome, the interaction between circ_0004507 and miR‐873 was predicted. For verification, dual‐luciferase reporter assay and RNA pull‐down assay were utilized. High expression of circ_0004507 and low expression of miR‐873 was detected in laryngeal cancer tissues. A direct target of circ_0004507 was miR‐873. According to findings, laryngeal cancer progression and cisplatin resistance were inhibited by knockdown of circ_0004507, via sponging miR‐873, affording a potential target for laryngeal cancer treatment.
