Chronovac Voyageur: A study of the immune response to yellow fever vaccine among infants previously immunized against measles
Vaccine Oct 19, 2017
Goujon C, et al. - This paper undertook a comparative analysis of the immune response to measles (alone or combined with mumps and rubella) and yellow fever vaccines among infants aged 6Â24 months, living in a yellow fever non-endemic country who had received measles and yellow fever vaccines before travelling to a yellow fever endemic area. A revision of current vaccination recommendations could be required, with regard to the administration of two live attenuated vaccines either on the same day or at least 28 days apart. No statistically prominent variation was noted if the interval between both vaccines appeared to be more than 24 h. The immune response was possibly reduced when the two vaccines were administered at the same time.
