Sun J, et al. - The relationship between periodontal pathogen colonization and the potential risk of developing precancerous lesions of gastric cancer (PLGC) is evaluated in a clinical setting. The outcomes of the present study give new proof proposing that periodontal pathogen burdens and bacterial diversity in the oral cavity are important factors contributing to a potential increased risk of developing precancerous gastric lesions.
