Chronic pain in families: A cross-sectional study of shared social, behavioural, and environmental influences

Campbell P, et al. - Researchers undertook an investigation assessing the family-level contribution to an individual's chronic pain status. As per findings, for chronic pain, most explanation is still at the individual level. However, there were some significant shared effects between family members that were associated with chronic pain. This underscored the influence of the family context.
