Ahn SJ, et al. - A retrospective case series is done to explore choroidal thickness in patients utilizing hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and compare choroidal thickness between eyes with and without HCQ retinopathy. These outcomes all recommend that HCQ retinopathy is related to choroidal thinning, particularly in the choriocapillaris. These outcomes may recommend the choroidal involvement of HCQ toxicity.
