Ge R, et al. – Objective is to illustrate the choroid plexus–cerebrospinal fluid route for monocyte-derived macrophages (MDMs) after stroke. It is suggested that for promoting recovery also in patients with stroke, autologous transplantation of M2-like MDMs into the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) might be developed into a new strategy.
