Capriotti K, et al. – This study gauged the efficacy of 2% povidoneÂiodine for the treatment of chemotherapy–associated paronychia. The data illustrated that the topical povidoneÂiodine/dimethylsufoxide solution was very effective in alleviating the signs and symptoms of paronychia related to chemotherapy. This combination necessitated additional analyses to further elucidate its clinical utility.
