Voong KR, et al. - Outcomes in patients with high-grade neuroendocrine (HGNE) carcinoma of the anorectum treated with pelvic chemoradiation were evaluated in this study. For the majority of the patients’ lifetime, pelvic chemoradiation provided locoregional control (LRC). Although patterns of distant failure did not support routine prophylactic cranial irradiation, most patients had a distant failure.
