Froyshteter AB, et al. - Researchers sought to determine the impacts of spinal anesthesia (SA) on cerebral and tissue oxygenation in children. Using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), they observed that SA had a neutral impact on cerebral oxygenation 30 min after block placement.
