Zakaria AS, et al. - Testosterone profile changes over time in a cohort of prostate cancer (PCa) patients managed with active surveillance (AS) were determined. In addition, the correlation with the initial disease characteristics and further progression were evaluated. The testosterone profile measurements were shown to decrease over time. With respect to disease progression, free testosterone was noted to be a significant independent variable.
