Changes in prevalence of marijuana consumption modes among Colorado high school students from 2015 to 2017
JAMA Aug 09, 2019
Tormohlen KN, et al. - Researchers investigated variations in modes of marijuana consumption among high school students in Colorado from 2015 to 2017. Among adolescents, smoking was the most common mode of marijuana consumption, however, nonsmoking modes, like ingesting, vaporizing, and dabbing, had developed in regard to legalization. Each mode of consumption had various impacts that may be correlated with different health consequences. Among high school students, former research in Colorado recognized smoking as the most regularly used mode of marijuana consumption and discovered that the prevalence of principally ingesting marijuana decreased following the implementation of retail marijuana sales.
