Marso SP, et al. - Researchers analyzed the effect of exenatide once-weekly (QW) on the heart rate in patients with type 2 diabetes. Exenatide QW, exenatide twice daily (BID), and liraglutide treatments were associated with small increases in heart rate. However, heart rate reverted to baseline after discontinuation. Increases were more likely in patients with a low baseline heart rate.
