Ryan D, et al. – A research was executed to appraise the preparedness of primary care to participate in the delivery of Allergen Immunotherapy (AIT) in Europe. Findings highlighted the extreme importance of successful working with primary care providers to scaling–up AIT provision in Europe. However, to achieve this the identified barriers must be overcome. As a matter of urgency, development of primary care interpretation of guidelines to aid patient selection, an establishment of disease management pathways and collaboration with specialist groups were required.
