Chau KHY, et al. – The prevalence of atrial fibrillation in the HIV–infected population seems growing, in this work, the ability of the CHA2DS2–VASc score to predict thromboembolic (TE) risk in this population is investigated. Findings revealed only a weak association of CHA2DS2–VASc scores with TE risk. In addition, warfarin seemed not effective at preventing TE events.
