Ishibashi H, et al. - A retrospective study was performed to prenatally predict placenta accreta in posterior placenta previa utilizing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The current study showed that it was difficult to diagnose placenta accreta in the posterior placenta previa using the well-known findings. The quantification of cervical varicosities could successfully predict placenta accreta.
