Klocke R, et al. - This trial was conducted to evaluate the response of biomarkers of cartilage and bone metabolism following the intra-articular corticosteroid injections (IACI) in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. Researchers revealed that the cartilage degradation in the short term could be reduced by the IACI in knee OA.
