Mcphee PG, et al. - In adults with cerebral palsy (CP), researchers analyzed the prevalence of cardiovascular disease (CVD), risk factors of CVD, and CVD-related mortality. Participants were adults aged 18 years or older with CP. According to the findings, overweight/obesity was the most commonly seen risk factor of CVD in adults with CP. In individuals with CP, CVD-related and circulatory system-related deaths are high vs the general population.
