Vainshelboim B, et al. - The association between cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) and cancer mortality was evaluated in men with overweight and obesity. Higher CRF was correlated with lower cancer mortality among men with overweight and obesity. As a risk factor, eliminating low CRF would potentially prevent a considerable number of cancer deaths and reduced the associated societal and economic burden in these high-risk populations.
