Wang Z, et al. - Given vascular calcification is a risk factor for the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease and mortality in dialysis patients, researchers, herein, assessed the link between the cardiac valve calcification (CVC) and cardiovascular or all-cause mortality in dialysis patients. A correlation of CVC with higher cardiovascular and all-cause mortality risk was apparent in this patient populace. For risk stratification of those who underwent dialysis, regular follow-up monitoring of CVC may be helpful.
