Natori Y, et al. - This study seeks to assess whether viral load could be used as a surrogate marker in clinical studies of cytomegalovirus in solid organ transplantation. Findings suggested that CMV viral load was an appropriate surrogate end-point for CMV trials in organ transplant recipients.
