Can point-of-care ultrasound predict spinal hypotension during caesarean section?: A prospective observational study

Zieleskiewicz L, et al. - Researchers performed a prospective single-centre observational study to assess the ability of change in velocity time integral (VTI) after 45° passive leg raising to predict hypotension following spinal anaesthesia. Findings suggested that cardiac ultrasound not only afforded characterisation of at-risk women but also may allow individualised strategies for prevention and management.
