Zeng R, et al. - This study entails a comparison between noninvasively obtained hemoglobin and laboratory hemoglobin concentrations in the pediatric population during their preoperative assessment. Findings indicated that venipuncture may not be required in nonanemic children when the noninvasive device is used for hemoglobin measurement in the preoperative assessment.
