Ni YN, et al. - Researchers performed this meta-analysis to compare high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) with noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV) and conventional oxygen therapy (COT) in adult patients after extubation. The evidence demonstrated that HFNC served as a reliable alternative of NIPPV to attenuate rate of reintubation, compared with COT, in patients after extubation.
