Baker N, et al. - This study was planned to assess the ability of emergency physicians to differentiate retinal detachments (RDs) from posterior vitreous detachments (PVDs) using point-of-care (POC) ocular ultrasound. Researchers recognized that emergency physicians were reasonably accurate in discriminating RD from PVD on POC ultrasound.
