Can embryo morphokinetic parameters predict euploid pregnancy loss?
Fertility and Sterility Oct 16, 2020
McQueen DB, Mazur MASJ, Kimelman D, et al. - Researchers here compared embryo morphokinetic parameters between embryos resulting in euploid pregnancy loss and euploid embryos resulting in live birth using time-lapse imaging. They conducted a retrospective cohort study including 192 euploid single embryo transfers. Among these, the pregnancy rate of 78% (150 of 193) and the live-birth rate of 63% (121 of 193) were observed. Time-lapse imaging yielded no evidence of abnormal morphokinetics in embryos that resulted in a euploid miscarriage. Euploid pregnancy loss possibly involves multiple factors, including both embryo and endometrial factors.
