Caffeine as symptomatic treatment for Parkinson's disease (Cafe-PD): A randomized trial

Postuma RB, et al. - Effects of caffeine on Parkinson's disease (PD) were evaluated in this study. No clinically important improvement was observed of using caffeine on motor manifestations of PD (Class I evidence). Epidemiologic links between caffeine and lower PD risk did not seem to be explained by symptomatic effects.
