CADM1 is a diagnostic marker in early-stage mycosis fungoides: Multicenter study of 58 cases
Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology Jun 22, 2018
Yuki A, et al. - Experts gauged CADM1 expression in mycosis fungoides (MF) neoplastic cells, to assess its usefulness as a diagnostic marker for MF. In early cases with less infiltrating cells, CADM1 positive cells could be identified. Findings suggested its usefulness as a diagnostic marker for early-stage MF. The CADM1 mRNA expression was found in the intradermal lymphocytes of MF cases, but not in those of inflammatory skin disorders cases.
