Kaya I, et al. – Here the surgeons described the new renovation of conventional butterfly technique for the repair of small– and medium–sized perforations. They illustrated that this approach was safe and efficient in terms of both anatomical closure of the defect and improvement in hearing. In addition, it offers improvement of patients’ comfort and decreases the morbidity of the procedure.
