Nguyen TT, et al. - In a large population-based cohort, researchers assessed breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) incidence and risk factors. They realized BCRL as sequelae of multimodal breast cancer treatment and risk seemed multifactorial. Higher BCRL rates were observed in patients receiving chemotherapy, radiation, axillary lymph node dissection (ALND), more advanced disease stage, and higher body mass index.
