Parkinsonism & Related Disorders Jun 19, 2018
Mittal SO, et al. - In this double-blind, placebo-controlled study, the researchers assessed the safety and efficacy of incobotulinumtoxinA (IncoA) injection for treatment of essential tremor (ET). From July 2013 to July 2016, 33 subjects were enrolled in this investigation. By the Fahn Tolosa Marin tremor rating score, the treatment efficacy was evaluated. Researchers observed that injection of IncoA treatment via a tailored approach improved essential hand tremor on the clinical scales as well as patient's perception with a low incidence of significant hand weakness.
