Chugh S, et al. - Researchers here aimed at furthering knowledge regarding the efficacy of glabellar botulinum toxin (BTX) injection as a treatment for depression in women and assessing how they could be translated to a real-world setting. Findings suggested that in the treatment of severe depression and in the treatment of depression in men, glabellar BTX injection could be efficacious. The treatment was efficacious in clinical trials as well as real-world settings.
