Wei W, et al. - Maternal bone mineral density (BMD) amid pregnancy as a function of vitamin D status in women of diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds is assessed in this study. These outcomes do not support a dose impact of vitamin D supplementation on bone health and propose that race/ethnicity and BMI play an important role in pregnancy bone health.
