Bone marrow oedema predicts bone collapse in paediatric and adolescent leukaemia patients with corticosteroid-induced osteonecrosis

Theruvath AJ, et al. - This retrospective study was performed to ascertain if bone marrow oedema (BME) was an early sign of progressive osteonecrosis (ON) and eventual bone collapse. Among paediatric and adolescent leukaemia patients, BME was found to be an early sign of progressive ON and eventual bone collapse.
