Linssen RSN, et al. - For this research, the clinicians examined the changes in body weight over time in patients treated with deep brain stimulation (DBS) for either obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or major depressive disorder (MDD). No significant change was observed in body weight on group level after DBS for either OCD or MDD.
