Peng M, et al. - The physicians developed 2 separate study cohorts (aged 60Â65 and aged 70Â75) to explain whether there was an age-dependent relationship of blood pressure (BP) with vascular dementia (VaD). Between the ages of 60 to 65 years, high BP was a significant risk for VaD in late midlife. For the prevention of VaD, greater efforts needed to be placed on early diagnosis of hypertension and tight control of BP for hypertensive patients.
