Haj-Mirzaian A, et al. - During this study, the correlation between bisphosphonate treatment with the change of periarticular bone area and three-dimensional (3D) shape was comprehensively investigated in enrollees of the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI) study. Findings illustrated that bisphosphonate intake was connected to a reduction in the odds (approaching but not achieving significance) of expansion periarticular bone area, especially in the medial tibial sub-region.
