Shu X, et al. - The authors performed this case-control study to examine whether serum bisphenol A (BPA) level could predict the 5-year incidence of type 2 diabetes (T2D). No association was found between BPA and a 5-year T2D incidence. Findings did not support that BPA exerted a detrimental effect on glucose metabolism (a previous cross-sectional study data).
