Laguna TA, et al. - In a population of asymptomatic cystic fibrosis (CF) infants, researchers investigated 3 targeted biomarkers viz desmosine, club cell secretory protein (CCSP) and cathepsin B. They found that in this patient population, cathepsin B and CCSP displayed promise as biomarkers of inflammation.
