Song I, et al. - This study examined whether bimodal ripple coupling was evident for faster sleep oscillations, and could identify the seizure-onset zone (SOZ). Among patients with frontal and parietal SOZ, phase-event amplitude coupling between ripples and sleep oscillations could be useful to distinguish pathologic and physiologic events.
