Beneficial effect of body weight control on left ventricular diastolic function in the general population: An analysis of longitudinal data from a health check-up clinic

Lee SC, et al. - This study was implemented to assess the longitudinal links between changes in body mass index (BMI) and left ventricular (LV) diastolic function. Findings demonstrated a link between changes in BMI and LV diastolic function. Furthermore, along with a decrease in BMI, a significant decrease in left atrial volume index and a significant increase in E' velocity were noted.
