Pathology International Feb 20, 2018

Matsumoto T, et al. - The authors strived to clarify the interconnections between basigin (BSG) expression and clinicopathological parameters. Furthermore, they resolved to gauge the prognostic significance of BSG expression in pulmonary adenocarcinoma (AC) patients. Adjusted hazard ratios for mortality of 4.694 was revealed via the high BSG expression group (compared with the low BSG expression group). Findings reported that the BSG expression was indicative of a poor prognosis in AC patients, especially in individuals with stage I disease.
