European Radiology Oct 13, 2017
Girometti R, et al. - The goal of the study described in this paper is to compare automated breast volume scanner (ABVS), ultrasound (US) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in measuring breast cancer size, and assess the agreement between ABVS and US in evaluating lesion location and sonographic features. The current study showed that the performance of ABVS is better than US and approaches MRI in predicting breast cancer size. They also noticed that the ABVS performs comparably to US in the sonographic evaluation of lesions.
