Qiu SH, et al. - This study examined the link between attenuated heart rate recovery and risk of diabetes in the general population. Findings demonstrated a dose-dependent association between attenuated heart rate recovery and increased diabetes risk and therefore, heart rate recovery should be measured when assessing diabetes risk in clinical routines.
