International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology Jan 10, 2018
Jones C, et al. - Using patient-reported and clinical characteristics, a comparative analysis was initiated with regard to the early-onset and late-onset asthma in a chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) cohort. No notable variation was discovered in the CRS-specific and asthma-specific patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) among groups. However, CRS patients with late-onset asthma displayed poorer physical function, more frequent nasal polyposis. These patients required increased treatment for CRS. It was deduced that late-onset asthma possibly speculated more severe disease in CRS.
