Associations between childbirth and urinary incontinence after midurethral sling surgery

Bergman I, et al. - The authors aimed at assessing if subsequent childbirths affect the outcomes of midurethral sling surgery with regard to stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Findings suggested no increased risk of patient-reported SUI in association with childbirth after a midurethral sling procedure. In addition, the mode of a subsequent delivery did not affect the continence status.
