Aoki Y, et al. - The associations were investigated between white matter organization and 2 commonly co-occurring neurodevelopmental conditions, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), through both categorical and dimensional approaches. A complete picture was provided by dimensional analyses regarding the associations between ASD traits and inattention and indexes of white matter organization, especially in the corpus callosum. This transdiagnostic approach could reveal dimensional relationships linking white matter structure to neurodevelopmental symptoms.
