European Journal of Gastroenterology & Hepatology Apr 11, 2018
Zhu S, et al. - The correlation between ideal cardiovascular behaviors and factors with the incidence of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was investigated during this research. Participants were divided into 4 categories according to the number of ideal cardiovascular behaviors and factors: 0–2, 3, 4, and 5–7 groups. When compared to the 0–2 group, lower risk of NAFLD among the groups with 3, 4, 5–7 ideal factors after adjustment for confounding factors. Following adjustment for age, sex, income, education level, and other confounders, the odds ratios were discovered to be 0.74, 0.49 and 0.37, respectively. Findings demonstrated a gradual decrease in the incidence of NAFLD with increasing ideal cardiovascular health behaviors and factors.
