Carr AB, et al. - This study examined the implant failure, and systemic conditions or diseases in a consecutive series of patients who received dental implants from October 1, 1983, to December 31, 2014, in the Department of Dental Specialties at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Patients considering oral reconstruction involving implants did not seem to risk implant loss due to systemic conditions or diseases.
