Harris JP, et al. - The relationship between delayed time from surgery to the start of radiation (TS-RT) with overall survival (OS) in the case of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma was determined. Worse overall survival was noted in delayed TS-RT of 50 days or more. To improve survival, the multidisciplinary care team should focus on shortening TS-RT.
