Kim JY, et al. - Researchers probed into the correlation between sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) and cardiocerebrovascular disease (CCVD). Results shed light on the link between SSNHL with an increased incidence of CCVD, specifically stroke. Hence, patient surveillance for signs of CCVD ought to be taken into account for patients who received a diagnosis of SSNHL.
